Ricardo Ales

Ricardo, or the prominent illustrationist Birdcvlt, is a tattoo artist, father and husband who branched out from the world of ink illustration into bold, detailed, time-enduring artistic tattooing in 2024.

He has a knack for tattooing birds, plants, and nature of all kinds, offering both bold color and smooth black-and-grey.

Ricardo went to school to study art, from which he coined his highly detailed brand of bird-themed artwork - and when he isn’t making tattoos, continues to create work that you can find in local Portland art galleries.
